cloudy

The world is cloudy,
Time has drowned in a vast ocean of nothingness–
But memories and pictures
Are carried by blurry shooting stars,
And sail across the galaxy.
A streak of rain
Glides down the window
And people hurrying through the streets
Morph into illusions of uncertainty.
The world is cloudy,
Thinking has slowed,
Half finished paintings will be left on stands.
But we remember the cloudiness when the sun shines its face.
Without premonition,
Anything like that,
I do not bother to go on.
In this cloudy world
There is nothing to say,
Nothing to do.
Without premonition,
I do not bother to go on.
The world is cloudy,
But with the reach of a hand
And a pat on the back
The world will be sunny
And happy again.
But as the sun and the moon dance
The fiery steps of the solar system,
You and I
Slowly contort into beings
Of unpredictability and wonder
And the world becomes cloudy again.
